Event Summary

PECAA is pleased to announce its next COPE virtual education event: Private Eye: Systemic Clues In Ocular Manifestations. Taking place on Sunday, August 18th, 11:00 am – 5:30 pm ET, this event will provide six (6) hours of COPE-accredited clinical continuing education to optometrists across the country and will be presented in a synchronous, virtual Zoom webinar format. In accordance with current COPE/ARBO guidelines, there are no testing requirements for synchronous virtual formatted courses to count as COPE-approved CE credits.

Each PECAA education event provides impactful instruction on a targeted area relevant to contemporary eye care practice. The August 18th event will help you put on your detective hats and dig those magnifying glasses out as we dive into the systemic clues that ocular manifestations are trying to show you through your patients every day. Attendees will expand their knowledge not only on identifying and diagnosing these manifestations, but also on how they relate and contribute to — and are early indicators of — more serious health issues that affect the entire body. These lectures will reveal how to best expose the more serious health concerns that could be hiding behind these manifestations.

Private Eye: Systemic Clues In Ocular Manifestations is open to all optometrists nationwide, including PECAA Max members, HEA Advantage members and non-members. We look forward to welcoming you to this event.
